Thomas is Abby's charge, despite his self-sufficient nature, Abby is close with Thomas. Often spending time teaching him life skills and teasing him about his crush on Jacqueline Addams. (He doesn't have a crush on her, but Abby finds it funny to tease him to make him break from his serious nature.) Abby and Thomas often spend their afternoons bonding over whatever new hobby Thomas has decided to learn.

Abby is a fanon Nandroid and a main character in the fan story A Quiet Life for Quiet Robots. She serves The Howards' Family as a maid for her owners, Dashy and Laura, and as a nanny for their child, Thomas. She is close friends with Dolly and Lenny.

Personality[edit | edit source]
Abby is a reserved nandroid whose charge is very self-dependent. While she often partakes in gossiping, Abby's life is rather calm. This makes her have a tendency to help her friends Dolly and Lenny with their charges and chores. In her trio of friends, they notably like to gossip about a nandroid in their neighborhood named Brandy.[2]
Relationships[edit | edit source]
Laura Howard is a social worker at the school where Thomas attends and Abby's secondary owner, often making her work hours long and complicated when she takes on extra cases to support troubled youth in their area and other schools. Laura, while liking Abby, treats her more as a robot rather than family as she grew up in an area where robotic ethics were not a thing at the time.
Dashy Howard is much closer to Abby than her wife, Laura. Dashy often is away from home for long hours as a house renovator and travels to approve worksites for her renovation company. Dashy is much more affectionate than Laura and far more outspoken, however, she at times treats Abby oddly as she grew up in an area known for dangerous outmoded technology making her more anxious around robots.
Dolly is Abby's best friend and befriended her in the same season the two came home leading Jacqueline (Dolly's charge) and Thomas to become close friends. The two, alongside Lenny, often gossip and help each other whenever possible.
Abby sees Lenny as the third robot in her trio of friends, and adores spending time with her and Dolly at the Holland's farm whenever Lenny has some free time. Though, she's still teaching her how to gossip properly.
Abby, unlike her owners, does not fear Thomas' pet snake (unnamed at this time.) She often helps Thomas with caring for the small hognose snake whenever he needs help, and finds herself often appreciating the low-maintenance pet when she sees the work Dolly and Lenny put in with their families' pets.
