Kimmy is a fanon Nandroid and a supporting character in the ongoing fan story Nandroids in Space. She was an upgraded model created with special customizations for NASA to prepare a moon base for a later human arrival.

Kimmy is very proud and snobbish, thinking herself superior to others. She speaks disparagingly to Tilly when they first meet and later admonishes her for perceived slights in previous missions. She also has trouble getting along with her Russian counterpart, Irina.
Plot summary[edit | edit source]
Chapter 6[edit | edit source]
With a new fiscal year starting, NASA purchases Kimmy, a Nandroid with many upgrades that are specifically designed for their needs. She trains hard for several months but remains cold and distant to Tilly. Eventually Tilly goes to Kimmy's room to wish her good luck on an upcoming mission and Kimmy badmouths Tilly and her previous missions.
Kimmy's first mission is a joint venture with the Soviet robot Irina in setting up a moon base for future human use. After a smooth launch and docking, contact with the two is lost shortly after they land on the moon, prompting NASA and the USSR to send Tilly and Tatyana, separately, to continue their job and find out what went wrong.
The pair meet on the moon and are able to locate the original lander, noting some drag-marks in the regolith that leads them to believe the craft had a spotty landing. Tilly follows some tracks leading away from the lander and finds the two MIA robots, both deceased. Irina is completely frozen and has no power, along with a broken helmet, while Kimmy has been attacked with a rock hammer, destroying her battery. Tilly and Tatyana leave the two deactivated robots where they lay.
After completing their other mission, Tilly and Tatyana begin their return home but grow curious and use recorded archives to find out more about what happened to Irina and Kimmy. They learn that during landing an anomaly gave bad altimeter data and led to the original lander being over a mile off course of their intended destination, causing an argument between the two before Kimmy damaged Irina's helmet, and Irina threw a rock in retaliation, the recording cutting of as the two fought to the death.
Later, when asked for a mission update as they are returning home, Tilly lies and says that Kimmy and Irina suffered a bad accident, making Tilly and Tatyana (and later Nadya) the only one's who know what really happened to Irina and Kimmy.[1]
