Marnie is a fanon Nandroid and the main character from Marnie Goes Metal. She is a happy and upbeat (despite her love of hardcore metal music) red haired Nandroid owned by a music executive who received supplemental music training and knows how to play at least 15 instruments.
Plots summary[edit | edit source]
Marnie, who loves playing music, asks her owner, Mr. Thompson, if she can record some music and he indulges her request, suggesting she play bass for an upcoming recording for "teen heart throb Billy Bills." She doesn't show interest and instead reveals her true aspiration, to play metal music.
To start her band, Marnie goes to a seedy venue in Beacon City and hangs a wanted poster looking for band mates. After a few days she is able to get a full band together from various robots, including another Nandroid, Tina, and they name their band Intent to Kill.
For their first performance, Marnie cuts her hair short, replaces her eyes with red ones, and douses herself in blue liquid that looked like robot coolant, giving her the look of swimming in robot blood. When Intent to Kill go on stage, Marnie addresses the audience and asks politely that the listeners "open up this fucking pit and turn Hal's into a goddamned battlefield! ...please. And thank you."[1]
