May was a fanon Nandroid and main character from the webcomic The Evolution, an unofficial creation not related to Emmy the Robot. She is a Nandroid who survived an alien attack on the starship MS Eternal and has lived in hiding ever since.[2] After many years she is attacked by a large alien monster but is saved by the robotic main character, Nicolas. She leads him and his sidekick to her hideout where it's revealed that Nicolas, who was once human, used to be cared for by May.[3] In chapter five she was retconned and her design changed to look less like a Nandroid.[4]
