Relationships

Darcy has a bad relationship with her school and the children at her school. The kids refer to her as "Trash Girl"[2] and she is banned from getting within 20 feet of school property.[4]

While Darcy refers to Ginny Hackle as "Aunt Ginny", she is not actually her aunt.[5] The limited interaction between them has been icy, with Ginny complaining that Darcy is "too loud".[6]

Her relationship with Aunt Ginny's outmodes isn't well known, aside from Dennis, who bullies her and steals her junkyard finds.[7]

Biography

Meeting Emmy

Darcy was scavenging at the junkyard when she found Emmy, unconscious, in a trash pile. Darcy reactivated her and was able to find and attach a replacement arm to the Nandroid.[8][9] With no easy route for Emmy to return home, Darcy took Emmy to a payphone but Emmy was reluctant to call either Sterling Robotics or her family, as she still had no human care certification and feared that returning to Sterling would result in her being dismantled. Darcy then suggested she come with her to her Aunt Ginny's house, and attached a bracelet device to Emmy.[10][11]

After arriving at Aunt Ginny's, Darcy and Emmy have a brief encounter with the outmodes living there and Emmy flees the house after trying to explain her situation, much to Darcy's dismay.[12]
