Noelle is a fandroid who was assigned to care for the aging Simon Crowley.[2] While she likes her family, she holds some resentment for not having been assigned to a family with children,[1] and feels regret at these thoughts.[2]
Over the months she spends caring for Mr. Crowley, she grows especially close and fond of Mr. Crowley's adult son, Nathan, who she treats as a best friend.[3] She worries about Nathan and is anxious when he returns to school, knowing that he may grow distant as time passes.[2]
