Percy is a fanon robot, presumed to be a male Nandroid, who works in a research complex studying "The Shell", an anomalous cave structure two kilometers under the ice at the south pole.[2] The robots stationed there, including Astrid, doctor's assistant Petra, and male robot Bjorn, perform domestic duties or assist the research staff.[3]
Percy is shy and simple, using free time waiting on a lift to dangle his legs to and fro to pass the time instead of thinking.[1]
