Angela Delaire (née Brewster) is the mother of Madeline and partial owner of Emmy, along with her husband, Ted. She works as a lawyer for a non-profit.[1]
Character summary
Personality
Angela is a very caring, headstrong woman. She enjoys her job of protecting the innocent and and has always had an interest in law.[2]
Relationships
Angela is in a loving relationship with her husband Ted and daughter Madeline. Angela and Ted are expecting another child.[3]
Angela is one of the few people to worry about Emmy and her well-being, wondering multiple times if Emmy is able to handle all the stress and workload placed upon her.[4][3]
Biography
Early life
Angela is originally from Shermer, Illinois, as the oldest of three children. Her father runs a successful refrigeration business.[2] She moved to Beacon City for law school and took on a part-time job as a model. She met Ted during a photo shoot for a women's watch brand.[2] They then dated for an appropriate amount of time before eventually getting married and later having their daughter Madeline.[2]
Living with Emmy
Several years later, while working for Sterling, Ted purchased Emmy as a Christmas gift for his family.[5] After four years of having Emmy as a maid, she malfunctioned during Madeline's 8th birthday party and destroyed Madeline's cake as well as sprayed Ted in the face with her fire extinguisher. Ted was unharmed from the incident and later goes to check on Emmy with Angela after she was sent to Sterling for repairs.
After Ted revealed to her that Emmy is now missing from Sterling Headquarters, Angela became angry, insisting that his company make it right and find a way to return Emmy.[6]

Angela appears frequently in the comic. Her first appearance is in Chapter 15.[5]
