Debbie is a shy and nervous[3] fanon Nandroid who was sent to Australia by Sterling's international branch Sterling Oceania[4] to be used in a rental service. She is joined by her friend and classmate, Maisy, and is taught by an older model, Sidney. Her and Maisy are referred to as "shinnies", being that they are new Nandroids.[3]
