Maisy is a fanon Nandroid who was sent to Australia by Sterling's international branch Sterling Oceania[3] to be used in a rental service. She is joined by her friend and classmate, Debbie, who she is braver and more bold than,[4] and is taught by an older model, Sidney. Her and Maisy are referred to as "shinnies", being that they are new Nandroids.[4]
